In the early days of having our baby boy, we were probably a little overzealous in keeping him clean. We were bathing him two to three times a day. Our pediatrician remarked that he looked a little dried out. She said that ordinarily the baby needed be bathed only once a day and she recommended using moisturizing lotion every day. I'm not certain of this, but I think she recommended the Aveeno Baby Daily Moisture Lotion. In any case, we started using it (on the basis of someone's advice)and have been using it ever since.
Our baby has had no skin problems at all, except for a minor amount of diaper rash, which is to be expected. I'd say this is a testimony to the quality of the Aveeno product. I put it on my hands and give him a rub down every evening and he loves it. Personally, its a nice lotion and I like the general lack of any significant scent. As a secondary effect, my hands seem to be in exceptionally good condition.
