For our first baby, we used the Diaper Champ, and disliked it so much that we stopped using it after 3 months--opting to just out our diapers in plastic grocery bags and taking them straight to the garbage can.
For the second baby, we gave the Munchkin a try--and it is a keeper. The "pros and cons" listed below come directly from our experience with the other diaper pail.
Pros:
- the replaceable bags easily snap into place
- the pail can easily be opened--without removing the bag--to see how full the bag is getting
- the bag closing system and Arm & Hammer dispenser do an effective job of eliminating odors
- the entire process for disposing a diaper can be done with one hand
- removal of the full bags is easy and without mess (both during the removal process and transporting to garbage can)
Cons:
- having to buy bags specific for the pail is a slight burden, but at $5 a box/10 bags a box/25 diapers per bag, this equals 2 cents per diaper (which, in my opinion, is well worth the cost)Get more detail about Munchkin Arm and Hammer Diaper Pail, White.
