I bought these for my 4 year old who occassionally wets the bed at night. They are great for this light-duty purpose. My dauther loves the fun designs and they are easy for her to put on/off like panties or she can pretend to be a baby and mom can put it on like a diaper.
I used cloth diapers from the time she was born. I wouldn't recommend these for infants or toddlers who are not yet potty trained. They are not very absorbant (but work well enough to contain any night-time messes)and they are very bulky to wash and take a long time to dry.
