This baby gate is utterly ridiculous. It is made of heavy metal, but the parts that attach it to the wall ? Cheap plastic !!! Tiny little screws !!! Does that make sense ??? My mom and I spent a good amount of time battling it as a result of the AWFUL instruction manual. Why put the written portion in one section, and pictures in another ??
I recommend instead the EvenFlo gate. It's significantly less expensive and the instruction manual is better. The gate is made of wood, the hardware that attaches it to the wall is METAL. Much safer, I think ! Get more detail about KidCo Safeway Gate - White.
