I've had this brush for a couple of months and it looks exactly the same as the day I bought it. Sponge brushes quickly deteriorate--lasting far less time than this durable brush already has. I really can't find a disadvantage to it. If I had to find one thing that I didn't just love, it would be the smooth, narrow grip. I would prefer a thicker, perhaps rubber, non-slip grip, BUT this brush's narrow end was designed to clean nipples which really makes it even more practical (I just happen not to use that feature).Get more detail about Philips Avent Bottle Brush, BPA-Free.
